I love when I finish socks; there is nothing more enjoyable than when you put on a new pair of socks you made yourself! I was reading in Yarn Harlot: The Secret Life of a Knitter and she talked about why socks are great. If you haven’t picked up the book, I HIGHLY recommend it. Anyway, I wore the socks today and they are faboo and totally cute; here is a pic for your view pleasure:
My flickr file has a couple different angles. Don’t you like the swirl? I think it’s cute that it runs across the two socks. What’s funny is that I had to increase for the heel (apparently I have fat heels) and the swirl got smaller. The sad thing is that it took forever for me to finish those socks (I get distracted easily) and I am already trying to figure out which 2 colors of koigu of which to make my next pair
