Sit ‘n Knit

Today DD & I went to Dunn Bros for a stitch ‘n bitch session.  We met Amy who was working on a knitting tote in a nice burgandy color; Kelle who was working on a sweater for her daughter’s violin teacher; and Mary Anna who was working on a cabled sweater also in a nice burgandy color.  It was a good time!  After we finished there, DD & I went to a new LYS called The Yarn Cafe’.  It’s a combination yarn and coffee/wine shop; what a great idea!  We then went to Yarnzilla where I got a skein of yarn to make a beret (to match Clapotis of course).

My father-in-law sent me an e-mail today that had a link to his website.  He has quite a few family pictures up and I must say that this is one of my favorites.  It’s DH’s great-grandmother on a motorcycle circa 1917.  What a hip chick!

Well, I’m off to work on my chapeau.  Have a great day!
