We went to our Stitch ‘n Bitch today, but it was too muggy to sit outside (check local listings) so we enjoyed the A/C’ed interior of a converted Victorian house. We had a couple new ladies join us, Sue (who had actually come to a meeting a couple months ago) and Lindsay & her sons Ewan & Owen (very cute boys). Naturally since Lisa was there and she is a kindred spirit to Crazy Aunt Purl, the topics always seem to come around to sex and/or porn….just kidding Lisa Last week Lisa was working on a Booga bag and she was using a ring as a stitch marker so I gave her one of my sheep stitch markers. She said I should sell the stitch markers and I am seriously considering it, we’ll see I turned over my Buttonhole bag to Kelle but I am realizing that I forgot to take a picture of it, duh-er. Oh well, Kelle will get pictures of all the bags together and you can see it then. She also suggested that we put something small into the bag for the recipient and I think I know just what to do (see previous statement). Anyway I was told that the ladies like my posting about what everyone was knitting so here ya go: Kelle was working on her Buttonhole bag which looked really cool, Meleah was working on her shawl & her ribbon top, Sue was winding huge hanks of yarn into balls (project undetermined yet), Lindsay was making an Aran style sweater for the Minnesota state fair, Lisa was working on her second Booga bag, and Amy was making great progress on her Einstein coat (I can’t wait to see how it looks when she’s finished).
That’s all to report, have a great day!
