The Best FO

Meet baby W!!
The Little Man arrived last monday at 6:30 PM.  I went into the hospital that morning for a planned induction and everything went fine until the nurse checked to see how far I was dialated.  The problem was that W had flipped and was butt down so that means c-section.  The funny thing was that in the hour or so from the time the nurse checked me to when I was cut open, The Little Man had flipped and was on his side this time…..I think I might have a gymnast on my hands here!  He came out just fine and you could tell he was a little overdone (dry skin), here are his stats:  8.5#, 22" long and 14.5" head circumference.  So because of the c-section I had to stay in the hospital a few more days.  W is doing great, eating like a champ…..not letting Mommy do much of anything by keeping me tethered to the Boppy at all times & half exposed.  Miss KT is taking this all very well!  She was actually a little sad when she couldn’t hold him at the hospital (my MIL & SIL were there and we thought KT would be too distracted).  When it was just DH & I we let her hold him and she was very excited!  I’m just hoping she still does well with W once she realizes that he’s staying with us permanently.
So right now I’ve kind of got my hands full, but I’ll try to post every now and again.  I’m sure you Moms will understandSmile  Once W and I work out the nursing thing I’ll be to knit again.  Take care everyone!

I couldn\’t respond to the email you sent the other day – he is gorgeous!  I just KNEW you were going to have a boy! We were all beginning to wonder. Be sure to sleep when you can, recovering from a c-section does take longer – my first 2 were born that way and I went back to work way too soon!  See you soon!
