Well, where do I begin….First of all, DH, KT, W & I took a couple of trips the first week of january. We made our way to Wisconsin to pick-up DH’s brother and then headed south to my hometown. It really is a lot of fun to drive 8 hours with a dog, 2 children, and 3 adults……can you smell the sarcasm? We all spent the night at my parents’ house and the following morning DH, KT & BIL left for Colorado. That’s right! Miss KT went on her first REAL ski trip; she took lessons and apparently had a lot of fun! DH and his brother snowboarded while KT was taking lessons. While 1/2 of my family was skiing, I was playing a little game I like to call "do I have a cell signal?"…just kidding. I spent the week at my childhood home doing nothing and it was great! I got to sleep in, just had to clean up after myself, and of course pry W away from my Mom for feedings (just kidding Mom). In fact I had so much free time that I finished 2 knitted objects! Now granted they were a hat and a mitten, but hey…they’re finished! Unfortunately while I was visiting both my Mom & Dad got the stomach flu and banished themselves from W & me for fear they’d pass it on; luckily they did not. DH and KT returned in one piece despite the bad weather along I-80 and after a few days rest, DH drove us all back up to Minn.
I have more to report, but I want this to be a respectable post and not 3 pages long.
